Sabine Lisicki is a German player known for holding the record of the fastest serve in the WTA with a speed of 131mph (211kmh), beating Venus Williams’ previous record of 129mph. She turned professional in 2006 and had her breakthrough year in the tour in 2009. She overcame injuries in the succeeding years and aided by her powerful serve, reached her highest ranking in 2012 at number 12. She has 4 WTA singles titles to date, winning her fourth title in Hongkong in 2014. With her cannon of a serve, Sabine previously held the record for most aces served in a singles match when she hit 27 at the 2015 Aegon Classic.
