Formerly the Hofheinz Pavilion, the $60-million Fertitta Center is a far cry from the old arena and although it offers fewer seats, the plush seats are really much better. Planning to catch some of the games of the Houston Cougars at the University of Houston’s high-tech arena? If that’s the case, we’re sure you’ll be bringing at least a couple of items with you like cameras, cellphones, and other personal effects that you always carry. However, don’t think that you can stuff these in a backpack or bag of any kind as these are not allowed. As a security measure, only clear plastic bags with a dimension not exceeding a foot in width or height is allowed in the arena.
