Minute Maid Park is the home stadium of the Houston Astros in Major League Baseball. The ballpark opened in 2000 and is the city’s first retractable-roofed stadium. It also has a natural grass playing field, and aside from baseball, also hosts football games, rugby, and music concerts. Diehard fans of the 2017 World Series champions are allowed to bring video and still cameras to the stadium but don’t get too excited that you bring hoverboards or fireworks to the game as these are not allowed. The 2019 American League champion Astros may have fallen short this year, losing at the hands of the Washington Nationals, 4-3, but the Astros are favored to repeat as AL champions next year, and have an 18-to-1 odds for the World Series.
