With the notorious morning and afternoon rush hour, and everything in between, Houston natives have come to accept that heavy traffic has become part of everyday life in the city. Having a very reliable car is necessary as you would be spending a lot of time in it, and with the stifling heat, you better make sure that you have a very strong air-conditioning system. Given these factors, don’t be surprised why most drivers will make the most out of clear or open roads as going full speed allows them to make up for being stuck in traffic. As such, don’t drive the speed limit under these conditions as they are regarded as a guide only, but if you are not prepared to go over, make sure that you stay at the rightmost lane as road rage is a common occurrence in the highways.
