A lot has been said on the rivalry between Houston and Dallas, whether on which is the premier metropolis in the state, to football teams, to you name it, and a friendly jest can turn into a full-blown squabble. No surprise there as residents of both cities are proud of their hometown. Although the Dallas Cowboys are more than 20 years removed from their last Super Bowl win, this is still something that they rub on the faces of Houstonians when it comes to football. When it comes to water? How about that time when due to a drought, they would say that Houston residents are drinking their wastewater? You may think nothing of this but just to make sure, don’t say out loud to Houston residents that you like Dallas for you may just be opening a can of worms.
