Don’t settle for meager tacos like those being sold in cheap fast-food restaurants when you’re in the city. You should always be aware where the good tacos are regardless which part of town you’re in, and we’re not talking of just one, but two or three spots, minimum. Don’t worry as you will have a lot to choose from, from the traditional tacos to the trompo tacos in little shops, restaurants, or food trucks. Don’t think that this is an exaggeration, either, as it seems that all Houston natives have taken upon themselves to hate bad tacos. Likewise, whenever you’re in a Texas taco restaurant, don’t order a burrito as this is a dead giveaway that you are a tourist.
