Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers (2002)

Vox

It was the first movie based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s amazing world which entertained the audience with a surreal but imaginative place and characters. But The Two Towers broadens that world, and definitely had more battles, which was surely appreciated by the fans. A lot of emotional scenes as well made it more real, a great mix of fantasy and reality. The character of Gollum by actor Andy Serkis was also awesome. The director, Peter Jackson, could have painted Gollum as a pathetic monster, but Jackson gives him a heart and a conscience, which is an essential part of the trilogy. Again, no one will say any of the 3 parts were badly done, or not appreciated. It just seems to improve each time – of course with the anticipation of the end.
