Terminator II: Judgement Day (1991)

Okay, the first Terminator was a good, groundbreaking film, it had a good story and the effects were great. But Terminator 2 stands out to be one of the best sci-fi action flicks of all time. James Cameron really improved himself in this second outing. What made it really great was that he turned the character of Schwarzenegger into the good guy. Being the protector of Sarah Connor and her son John from a more advanced, and terrifying android really entertained the audience. Transforming Sarah Connor into a bad ass also helped make the sequel more interesting and enjoyable. Whatever the critics say anyway. Of course it would not be a Schwarzenegger film without the corny one-liners, but that added humor to the action flick.
