Christmas Vacation is arguably the best Vacation movie. The original is a hilarious road-trip comedy and was a hit, but the 3rd movie in the series remains the most rewatchable. The Christmas dinner scene is definitely the funniest in the franchise. While only a few comedy sequels do better than the original, Christmas Vacation does make it one of the rare few. It’s attraction delves on the joys and horrors of being with your family at Christmas. Particularly if it’s a dysfunctional and comical family. Chevy Chase does his whimsical, nerdy, and naive comedy routine really artistically. Well, don’t expect anything less of an awesome comedian.
