Off the pitch, Alex is married to fellow football player and UC Berkeley alum Servando Carrasco. The couple has been married since 2014 and has their first child together, Charlie, when Alex gave birth last May. The San Dimas, California native, who just turned 31 last July, is known as the first Women’s World Cup player to have scored a goal on her birthday, incidentally coming against England, which she capped off with the now famous “tea party” celebration, which also reportedly did not sit well with some English players. With her good looks and success in the pitch, she became a brand endorser for the likes of Nike, Coca-Cola, and Chobani, among many others, making Alex the highest-paid female American football player in 2015.
