The girl called “too beautiful to play volleyball” was born in Aktobe, Kazakhstan in 1996 and first played for Kazchrome. In 2014, she became an official volunteer for the humanitarian organization “Red Crescent of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and attended Kazakh University. The 5’11” player’s long legs and good looks made her the star of the 2014 under-19 tournament even if her team only placed seventh and although she was already popular around that time, the insane amount of attention she got paved the way for more opportunities. Aside from modeling offers that came from all directions, she started her own sports fashion brand, S20 (named after her now famous jersey number), proving that the 23-year-old really has a pretty good head on her shoulders. Outside the court, some of her interests include skiing and paragliding, and looking at her Instagram page, where she’s nearing the 1-million follower mark, she’s a real horse lover.
