Life must have been at a whirlwind pace for Alica in the past couple of years, no doubt fueled by her fast-growing popularity. Born in Worms, Germany, Alica grew up in the Bavarian city of Ingolstadt, then moved to Potsdam, and eventually, Berlin, as her ability and career progressed. Now a certified Instagram sensation with over 1.8 million followers, she has become not just an athlete and model, but an influencer as well, getting offers left and right, including one to appear in Playboy magazine, which she turned down. Instead, she advocates for healthy living and eating, and was involved in the relief efforts for the island of Lombok, in Indonesia, when it was hit by a deadly earthquake in 2018 where more than 500 people lost their lives. And who’s the lucky guy that caught this amazing athlete? Well, that is fellow German Fredi Richter, who Alica met while she was still living in Potsdam. Again, very lucky guy.
