On the slopes, her unique style and amazing speed made her the greatest female alpine skier, but her Hollywood good looks definitely helped her transcend the sport like no other. She has graced the pages of Sports Illustrated magazine’s Swimsuit Issue three times and has been named to the Hot 100 of Maxim magazine. The St Paul, Minnesota native, born Lindsey Kildow in 1984, started skiing at the age of 3 and began competing at 7, which ingrained in her a fierce competitive nature that allowed her to come back even stronger from some pretty horrific injuries. The 35-year-old, who still goes by the name Vonn even after her 2013 divorce from fellow American skier Thomas Vonn, admitted how hard it was to step away from the sport after failing to achieve her personal goal. HBO even covered her final season in its documentary, Lindsey Vonn: The Final Season, proving that the Under Armour athlete has cemented her place in sports history. The 5’10” beauty, who has over 2 million followers in Instagram, was also previously linked to golfer Tiger Woods but is now engaged to Canadian PK Subban, a professional ice hockey player for the New Jersey Devils in the NHL.
