Natalie Eva Marie is a professional wrestler, model, and actress who rose to fame after joining the World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE in 2013. Known as Eva Marie, she was also cast in WWE and E!’s reality show, Total Divas, which gave fans a look into the lives of the popular WWE Divas. She joined the Raw main roster the very same year and participated in WrestleMania XXX in 2014. However, Natalie was still new to the sport and to hone her skills, she was moved to the WWE’s developmental arm, NXT, in 2015, which saw her lose in a non-title match to NXT Women’s Champion Asuka. She got drafted back to the main roster in 2016, this time to Smackdown. Throughout her time at the WWE, Eva Marie was portrayed mainly as a “heel,” which is the industry term for the bad guy or villain as opposed to the “face” or hero. By this time, Natalie had signed up with the same agency and management team as The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, and with more opportunities opening up to her, parted ways with the organization for a career outside the ring.
