Born and raised in the island of Kauai, Hawaii, Alana Blanchard is a professional surfer and model, though the latter is what most people associate her with, mainly due to her being the face, and body, of the popular sport and surfing brand, Rip Curl. She still competes professionally in the World Surf League, where she entered as a wild card in last year’s MEO Rip Curl Pro in Portugal. The sexy surfer has been modelling and designing swimwear for Rip Curl since she was 14 years old, partnering with the brand as a young and upcoming surfer that won, among many others, the 2005 Triple Crown Rookie Of The Year, 2005 Rip Curl Grom Search Nationals, and the 2007 Women’s Pipeline Championships and Roxy Pro Trials in Hawaii, and the Rip Curl Girls Festival Jr. Pro in Spain. Although it may seem that her surfing has taken a backseat to her other career, and to motherhood, Alana had plans of competing more this season before the global pandemic forced the tour to push back its events for the year.
