Norwegians are incredibly humble, and they live by an important and unwritten law called Janteloven. This unspoken social norm is deeply ingrained in the Norwegians’ egalitarian culture and lifestyle. The present-day Vikings remain simple and humble regardless of how successful and rich they are, and they do not like people who are cocky and boastful of their individual achievements.
