Don’t Snap Pictures Near Military Or Government Buildings

When touring the country, particularly the central area of Kyiv, take all the pictures you want of the popular landmarks such as the beautiful cathedrals and churches, museums and art galleries, monasteries, and statues, but don’t take photos of or near military or government buildings due to security concerns. Terror attacks are not out of the question in the capital, with authorities even announcing the arrest of suspected terrorists earlier in the year. To be safe, be on the lookout for signages or warnings concerning areas or establishments that you cannot take pictures of.
