Although Ukraine has been independent for almost thirty years, some people still associate it with Russia, and this includes the weather. But don’t think the climate is the same in both countries as the freezing temperatures and the snow only appear during the winter. However, winters can be severe, with January considered as the coldest month with daytime temperatures at 0°C, and can drop to as low as -20°C. But there are also sunny days, with July as the warmest, with average temperatures of 25-30°C, but can go as high as 35°C. The best time of the year are said to be between May and September, with warm days and cool nights.
