Don’t Give Money To Beggars

The developing country of Ukraine is reported as the poorest country in Europe. Though the poverty rate has gone down compared to the previous years, the unemployment rate remains high. As such, there is always the chance of seeing beggars on the street who will usually approach foreigners or tourists for money. Don’t give money to them as giving to one can attract the attention of other beggars in the area. It wouldn’t be surprising that a number of them are pickpockets as well, so you risk losing more than what you intend to give. Having them surround you would be the worst scenario as you can be distracted, leaving you more prone to getting robbed.
