Don’t Do These Gestures With Your Hand

Each country has its own customs and traditions, and this also extends to gestures. Be careful as a simple and harmless gesture to you can be considered offensive or rude in Ukraine. While here, don’t make a gesture of placing your thumb between your index and middle finger as it is considered vulgar, much like how the middle finger is taken in western countries. When calling someone, don’t gesture to them with your index finger as this is only done when calling someone’s pet dog. Also, don’t point with your finger as this is impolite. If you have to, use your entire hand instead.
