Don’t Take Safety Precautions For Granted

Though the streets of the cities are relatively safe to walk in for tourists or foreigners, even at night, they should still be aware of their surroundings and exercise common sense. Don’t walk around displaying or flashing large amounts of money if you don’t want to have a target painted at your back by pickpockets or thieves and muggers. Keep your valuables, including gadgets, out of sight as much as possible and don’t walk alone in poorly lit or deserted places late at night. If you rent a car, make sure you don’t leave anything of value inside when parking it as car thefts are pretty common in the city.
