The classic nature versus nurture debate has been demonstrated by Oxana’s case. Experts were baffled and amazed how she still was able to perform dog -like behaviors even after a decade since her rescue. It’s like she had a dual personality, a human and a dog. She exhibited mannerisms from both species, sometimes walking upright, only to go down on all fours and run in the yard. Even her barking amazed experts, it was like an actual dog’s bark, and not like a human trying to imitate a dog. For quite some time, Oxana was only observed by Ukranian doctors and experts. Eventually the rest of the world got wind of her case.
