Broderick Stephen Harvey, popularly known as Steve Harvey was born on January 17, 1957. He is an American television host, producer, radio personality, actor, author, and producer. He has hosted several shows such as “The Steve Harvey Show”, “Family Feud” and several other shows. He hosted “Family Feud” from 2010 – up to the present.

“Family Feud” has experienced a resurgence of popularity with Steve Harvey as host. With Steve Harvey taking the lead, the show has even had several primetime celebrity specials, with big name celebrities like Shaquille O’Neal and Kanye West. Regardless of how charming Steve Harvey is on camera, he has his fair share of controversies.

Off screen, Steve Harvey has been known to be strict on the set about people approaching him without prior permission. There have been several instances that remind the staff about this. For instance, Steve Harvey sent a staff email to remind the crew of his daytime talk show of his instructions. Variety reprinted this message, and part of it included instructions like “do not come to my dressing room unless invited” and “my security team will stop everyone from standing at my door who have the intent to see me or speak to me.”
