Bob Barker was Guilty of Discrimination

Bob Barker who is known for hosting “The Price is Right”, is not a stranger to controversy. He was accused of sexual harassment by Dian Parkinson (a former model of “The Price is Right”). That however, was not the only case that was filed against him. In 1995, Holly Hallstrom another former model of the show, filed a lawsuit against Barker and the producers of the show for wrongful termination. She said that she was fired because she gained weight and for not agreeing to tell fabricated stories to the press about Parkinson. Barker called the lawsuit as frivolous and he counter sued for slander. However, a court agreed that Hallstrom’s termination was wrongful and declared her as the prevailing party. She eventually won a settlement. The information regarding the settlement was never made public, but it would be safe to assume that “the Price is Right”
