This is a photo of David Bowie on a balcony in Paris, taken some time in the early 1970s. He was an English singer-songwriter and actor, and considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. His career was marked by constant reinvention throughout various genres and decades, yet he managed to remain poignant and relevant all throughout his career. In 2013, he returned to the recording studio after a decade-long hiatus and remained musically active until he died of liver cancer in his home, two days after his 69th birthday.
