This is Susan Sarandon in a tailored black jacket over her bare chest, wearing white cotton trousers, golf socks and trainers on the set of her movie, Joe. Sarandon is known for being a particularly striking fashion chanteuse, on screen as well as off. She has starred in some of the most iconic films of the 70s and 80s, such as the Rocky Horror Picture Show, where her character Janet transforms from baby-doll-dressed square to sexy, sequined, corseted cabaret performer for the finale. Sarandon is also known as an activist, having attached herself to numerous social and political causes from AIDS charities to anti-war activist groups.
