When Joyce first contacted Gladys and Carla, it seemed she hadn’t completely made up her mind about selling her house. Her Jane Street home was full of wonderful memories and saying goodbye to a house where she spent 72 years of her life could be incredibly hard. The Spizzirri sisters were understanding, but they were also concerned they wouldn’t close the deal. Nevertheless, with their extensive experience in the realty business, the pair knew how to handle clients who got cold feet about selling their house and moving to a new place. Seeing that they had an almost-million-dollar-sale within their reach, they weren’t about to let Joyce give in to her hesitation.
It took the sisters a few phone calls and a ton of reassurance to convince Joyce to finally and decidedly put her house up for sale. While the sisters gave each other a pat on the back for successfully jumping over that first hurdle, there was still one big thing worrying them—the kind of condition the house at 148 Jane Street would be in.
