An Interior Designer At Heart

Newsd

Joyce had worked as a seamstress for many decades before she retired. Even though she never dabbled in interior design and decoration professionally, Joyce had always been an interior designer at heart. She most certainly had an eye for residential style, with 1950s and 60s furnishings carefully chosen by a woman indulging in her love of interior decorating. 148 Jane Street was a passion project and not a profession.
Despite not pursuing interior design as a career, Joyce had always tried to be original and followed her own style. Suffice it to say, the nonagenarian’s distinctive panache certainly showed in every room, with everything matching and flowing well together in soft, tone-on-tone colors. On top of all that, it’s impossible not to appreciate all the work Joyce had put into making her home completely enchanting, with its baroque prints, floral patterns, and gold furnishings on metallic wallpaper.
