House Kaboodle

There wasn’t any plumbing or a single lighting fixture out of order. The sisters’ initially concern that Joyce’s house might be in an un-sellable state of disrepair was immediately abated. And as for their worry about electrical wiring for appliances, Joyce showed them that one room had been redone since the 1950s—the kitchen. The kitchen had more of a 1960s or 70s look to it, with some upgrades made to keep up with the evolving technology. While there was no portable induction cooktop or a smart fridge with a screen-style control panel, Joyce’s appliances still worked surprisingly well. Her 50-year-old appliances were a testament to the fact that items from the 1960s were built to last. And keeping with her feminine vintage design, Joyce had a pink rotary phone in her kitchen.
