Ruby Tuesday, a casual dining place, has been loved by Americans since it opened in 1972. It is sad to see your neighborhood hangout close shop. The place was one of the first chains to offer new menus and featured craft cocktails. It was ahead of its time with the healthy food craze as well. But through the years, it has closed down around 500 of its almost 950 outlets. However, officials claim that the closures are part of a long term growth strategy. Yeah, right. Top management changes have contributed to the decline, no matter how they report it. Even with new ownership, they continue to shut down stores. Hopefully the new owners can steer it back to the good old days.
