Burger King is one of the biggest names in the fast food industry, along with the leading McDonald’s. Yet, this giant can’t escape closures. Over the last few years, Burger King has seen at least 100 of its outlets close shop. But the year 2019-2020 will be “whopper” of closures. It is predicted that around 250 of its locations will turn-off the lights permanently. The chain is still hoping to recover and introduce new ordering technology, just like its competitors. Burger King is known for its flame-broiled beef burgers. It was started in 1954 by James McLamore and David Edgerton in Miami. It has seen a lot since then, but the future does not look good.
