Don’t Consume Alcohol In Public Places

This is banned, alcohol can only be consumed at bars, restaurants, and hotel lobbies. Not only is this frowned upon by locals (and authorities), it makes you look rude and obnoxious. Nobody wants to see drunks walking around. Or worse, hear them with their loud voices. Even the tourist-oriented beer bikes, where several tourists ride a bar-looking bike and drink in public are banned. Locals hate them and have complained to the authorities. It used to be a tourist thing to do in Amsterdam before, but things are changing. So always behave. Why drink in the streets when you can enjoy a good bar and relax?
