Beer in the Netherlands is usually served in small glasses which contain 25ml and 33ml only. They are called vases or fluutjes. Tourists normally are shocked by the size of the glasses. It seems weird for a European country to serve beers in small glasses. Pints are quite rare, and German steins are non-existent. So get used to it, you can always order more.
