Driving in and around Germany is a comfortable leisurely experience. Foreign driver’s licenses are accepted up to 6 months. Most are always excited to drive for the first time in the Autobahn, where speed is almost limitless. There is a recommended speed limit of 130 kph, but you will notice some cars going over 200 kph! It is for this reason there are strict rules, like do not drive in the middle lane, or worse on the left lane. This are meant to be passing lanes for faster vehicles. Avoid serious road rage, and obviously accidents. Follow the rules and you will enjoy driving around, without any problems.
