Rules, rules, rules. There are many in Germany, including grocery shopping. First of all, you have to bring your own shopping bags. Germany is not like the rest of the world…no one will bag your groceries for you. And you must not clog up the aisle taking time to bag your groceries, best put them all back in the cart, go to the side or ledge area, and bag them there. Lastly, do not leave the shopping cart in the parking area when you are done. You will have to bring them back to the front of the store, it’s the proper thing to do.
