Forget To Respect Sundays

Sundays is a cherished rest day for Germans. Even shops are closed on Sundays. It does not have anything to do with religion. It is more about tradition.  There is a law which does not allow loud noises such as vacuuming, drilling, or playing loud music, even in your own house on Sundays. Especially between 1pm to 3pm, and 10pm to 7am. This also holds true for tourists in hotels, do not be loud on Sundays. Respect this custom.
