Pass up the Chance to Learn Polish

Polish people have an excellent grasp of English, thanks to a school system that teaches their kids how to speak the language at an early age. How convenient for you, right? Admittedly, it is, but don’t let that stop you from learning a little Polish yourself.

Knowing some basic polish greetings, phrases and words will go a long way and come in handy when travelling Poland’s backroads. Locals appreciate people who take time learning how to speak in the local tongue, and knowing how welcoming the poles are, you might even make a friend with a simple “witaj!’ which is polish for “hello.”

Polish isn’t an easy language to learn, and we know that. But learning how to speak it, even in phrases, will be worth the effort, you’ll see.
