Criticize the Poles

Poles may be friendly, warm and welcoming, but they also are a proud bunch. You won’t be able to deny sense of pride the Polish have for their traditions, which is why criticizing them can be a problem. Learning and accepting the sensitivities of different cultures help you understand them better.

Don’t be offended if they correct you when you’re wrong, just like when you call Poland, Eastern Europe. They mean well and have no intention of embarrassing you, they just aren’t apprehensive about doing so.
