Another giant breed that can weigh up to 200 pounds, these dogs are also called Caucasian Ovcharkas. They are powerful and confident and were raised to guard livestock against large predators including bears. If not trained well, they can be dangerous as they are massive, strong, and hard to control. With a bite force of 550-700 PSI, Caucasian Shepherds are known as fearless and ferocious ultimate fighters. They are very protective of their owners and are very aggressive toward strangers. They also cannot be left alone with children. They require a lot of time, dedication, and training to manage their behavior, and with their powerful, defensive nature, they’re recommended only for experienced dog owners.
