Dogo Argentino

Source:http://www.dogspotters.com/

Dogo Argentinos were mainly bred in Argentina for big game hunting. Their size and their manner of walking are impressively intimidating, making them very good guard dogs. With their dog-fighting ancestry and a bite force of 500 PSI, Dogo Argentinos can be aggressive. They have a strong prey drive and should not be kept with cats unless raised with them. They are territorial and overly protective of their owner and can exhibit these aggressive behaviors around strangers and visitors. Because of their aggressive temperament, they are banned in the UK.
