English Mastiffs are large, powerful, and instinctively protective just like other mastiffs. They are gentle as well, but they are better suited for homes without kids. They have a bite force of 556 PSI which can inflict a lot of pain and damage, easily breaking any bone in the human body. They are extremely protective and defensive, and if not socialized properly, they can become aggressive and violent toward strangers.
