German Shepherds are a very popular breed of dog, especially with the military and law enforcement. They are very protective of their owners or handlers. They’re also intelligent and playful but ask any criminal who encountered this “police dog” if they agree. With a bite force of 238 PSI, a German Shepherd’s bite can break a bone and cause serious physical injuries. Even though their aggressive behaviors are touted to make them strong and ferocious guard dogs, they can also be incredibly dangerous. They are competent, courageous, and versatile, excelling at almost anything they’re trained to do, but their aggressive tendencies need to be curbed.
