Labrador Retrievers are one of the most popular pet breeds in American homes, and this is probably the reason they have the most biting incidents recorded. While they are good-natured, owners should learn to identify signs of fearfulness, frustration, or anxiety which may distress Labs and cause them to bite. While they are generally known to have a friendly and laidback personality, making them a great family dog, they can also have behavioral issues. Some Labradors are reactive and use aggressive behavior, and with a bite force of 305 PSI, an untrained and harmless little Lab can quickly grow into a large and dangerous adult.
