Cane Corsos are muscular dogs that can weigh between 100 to 150 pounds. They are descendants of the Canis Pugnax which were dogs used by the Romans during warfare. Large and imposing with a bite force of 700 PSI, Cane Corsos have been reported to be the cause of many injuries and fatalities every year. Because of their enormous size and build, they can easily overpower and severely harm people and animals. They are extremely independent and can become dominant and aggressive if not given early training and proper socialization.
