The Nissan Navarra was widely sold in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. It was also known as the D22, D23, and D40. Luckily, only a few made it to the US. Even while Nissan refused to admit it, this pickup was problematic, to say the least. It was a safety risk to put it simply. Rust issues on its chassis were enough to cause the underpinnings of the truck to crack, which could lead to it splitting into two. Who in their right mind would want to drive a pickup with that problem? Yet, there were several who didn’t do their research. Fortunately, just a handful of Americans experienced hell on wheels.
