Many would testify that the Chevrolet C/K was a trusted model since 1959. Up to the year 2000, it had a history of reliability. Unfortunately, the 1997 Chevy K2500 had a history of experiencing rust. One reported case had rust along the cross member underneath the driver and passenger seats. Not ideal for safety standards. If you are in the market for used cars, remember to avoid this pickup.
