The Shameful Suzuki Equator

Suzuki wanted to penetrate the US market, and they were correct to assume a pickup truck would be needed. Americans after all, loved their pickup trucks. So they came up with the Suzuki Equator…but it was pretty much a Nissan Frontier with the Suzuki logo. They even asked Nissan for help. But it did not work out for them. It was only produced for four years, as sales were really low. It seemed people realized that they were getting fooled. Buyers in Amarica did not appreciate the “shameful” try of Suzuki.
