Good looking, definitely. Reliable, definitely not. GMC decided to make the Sierra 2500HD to compete against the Chevy Silverado. Yet both vehicles were a letdown, with problems that affected reliability. The Sierra had issues with the fuel system, some transmission components, and the integrity of the pickup’s body. It had the worst score from Consumer Reports regarding its reliability rating for at least four years. To be fair, it can get the work done, but there are other luxury heavy-duty trucks that fare better. Your choice of course.
