While it was classified as a compact pickup truck, most people thought the bed to be too small. It may have been fuel efficient, and easy to drive, but it had a low reliability rating due to its suspension, fuel system, and climate system. The 2015-2017 models experienced transmission issues when accelerating or downshifting. These were serious issues, and caused investigations for these defects. But it seems GM was able to address these issues, and the 2019 models seems to be more appreciated, and much safer. For second-hand car buyers, you may want to avoid the models from 2015-2017.
