Toyota was losing customers, as well as their reputation. Other automakers took advantage of this problem by Toyota.Luckily, Toyota addressed the problem, and the 2007 overhaul greatly improved the truck’s performance, making it one of the more popular vehicles. Another close call for the manufacturer. Definitely one lemon can ruin a reputation.
